Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026Effective date: July 12, 2026

Bosster is developed and operated by Cinute InfoMedia (www.cinuteinfomedia.com). This policy explains when payments for Bosster subscriptions are refundable, how cancellation works, and how to make a request. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Our guiding principle is simple: you should never pay for something we failed to deliver, and we should not refund periods of service you chose to use. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable refund rights you may have under the consumer laws of your country.

1. Free Plan

The Free Plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. You can stop using it, or delete your account and workspace, at any time. Deleting your account removes your data on the schedule described in the Privacy Policy.

3. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you subscribe to a paid plan for the first time and decide it is not for you, we will refund the full amount — no questions asked — provided that:

  • you request the refund within 14 days of your first payment for that plan;
  • it is your (or your organization’s) first paid subscription to Bosster — the guarantee applies once per customer, not to re-subscriptions; and
  • the account has not been terminated for a violation of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.

After a money-back refund, your workspace is downgraded to the Free Plan; your data is not deleted.

4. Cancellation by You

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your billing settings. When you cancel:

  • your paid features continue until the end of the billing period you have already paid for — cancellation stops the next renewal, it does not cut off service;
  • we do not issue refunds for the unused portion of a billing period on user-initiated cancellation (outside the 14-day guarantee above), because the full period remains available to you;
  • at the end of the period, the workspace moves to the Free Plan and your data remains accessible within Free Plan limits.

5. Termination or Discontinuation by Us

Fairness cuts both ways. If Cinute InfoMedia terminates your paid subscription without cause (for our convenience), or discontinues the Service entirely, we will refund the pro-rated unused portion of any prepaid fees automatically — you do not need to request it. If we terminate for a serious violation of the Terms of Service, no refund is due for the remaining period, though we will still honor the data-retrieval window described in the Terms.

6. Service Outage Credits

If the Service is continuously unavailable for more than 24 hours due to causes within our control (excluding scheduled maintenance announced in advance and force-majeure events), paid subscribers may request a pro-rated credit for the affected period:

  • the credit equals the fraction of your billing period the outage lasted, applied to your next invoice (or refunded if you cancel before the next invoice);
  • requests must be made within 30 days of the outage to support@opentask.app, referencing the approximate outage window;
  • we verify outage windows against our monitoring and status records and apply credits generously in cases of doubt.

7. Billing Errors

Billing mistakes are always corrected, with no time limit tied to this policy: if we charged you the wrong amount, charged you twice, charged you after a valid cancellation, or applied the wrong plan or seat count, we will refund the difference in full as soon as the error is confirmed. Please report suspected errors to support@opentask.app with the invoice number.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request any refund or credit under this policy:

  • email support@opentask.app from the email address on the account, with the invoice number and the reason for the request;
  • we will confirm receipt within 2 business days and decide the request within 10 business days;
  • approved refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval (your bank may take a few additional days to post the funds).

9. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — nearly every billing issue is resolved faster through support@opentask.app than through a card dispute. Initiating a chargeback for a charge that was valid under this policy may result in suspension of paid features while the dispute is investigated. We will never suspend an account for a chargeback made in good faith over a genuine billing error, and we respond to all disputes with full transaction records.

10. Currency and Taxes

Refunds are issued in the currency of the original charge and include any taxes we collected on the refunded amount. We are not responsible for differences arising from currency-exchange fluctuations or fees imposed by your bank or card issuer between the charge and the refund. Where tax law requires us to issue a credit note, we will do so.
